The Molise DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Marina Colonna is an outstanding product made with a blend of Leccino, Gentile di Larino and Rosciola olives. These olives are hand-harvested, processed, milled and cold-pressed separately all in the same day by Marina Colonna. This Molise DOP extra virgin olive oil has an intense fruity aroma with hints of artichoke, lettuce, and chicory, enriched by fragrant notes of basil and parsley. On the palate, there are notes of green tomatoes, white apple, and a final note of almond and black pepper. The bitterness and pungency are well-balanced.

Olive Varieties: 80% Leccino and Gentile di Larino, 20% Rosciola.

Pairing ideas: bread,raw or grilled vegetables or baked stuffed artichokes, spaghetti aglio e olio or cakes.
