  • Cookie. This jam and vanilla cookie is a piece of art. There are three components to this: a round vanilla cookie base, spoon and thick apricot jam on it, and a circle of streusel around the jam. It's beautiful and delicious, and vanilla sports with tangy fruit jam, and a tender cookie with crumbly streusel is ideal. This is a jammer.
  • Box. There are six pouches in a box of jammer cookies, and two jammer cookies are neatly packed in each pouch.
  • Material. A jam cookie is the way it should be: butter, vanilla, contrasting thick apricot jam and salt. We assemble this cookie by laying out vanilla cookie bases in a grid of 8 x 6 on our baking trays, piping on thick apricot jam over them, and then finishing with a circular sprinkle of streusel. The jam cooks upon baking, the vanilla cookie base becomes crumbly, and the streusel becomes crunchy.
