Jimmy Tartufi truffles are sourced directly from hunters and
gatherers, mainly in central Italy, where the headquarters of our
company. The availability and the availability of this precious
tuber is closely linked to the seasonality and the climatic
conditions. Tartufi Jimmy was born thanks to Jimmy, the little
pig with which Gino, the father of the founder (Giovannino), went
to hunt Truffles. At the beginning, the collection was done with
this type of animal. Giovannino every morning accompanied his
father and the pig Jimmy in the woods and at the end of the day,
at the return of them, the amount of Truffle was always so great
that in the village of Pietralunga people exclaimed: “Jimmy’s
Truffles are delicious!.” Unfortunately the “little” pig died of
old age and after several years, when Giovannino started his
business he called the company “Tartufi Jimmy”, devoted to trade
in fresh truffle, always synonymous of pride and quality. In 1980
he began to develop the project to create a line of products with
simple and genuine ingredients in conjunction with the
fundamental element that is the truffle with all its special
nuances
